Meet our CEO
Najaf Gillani brings more than 25 years of executive technology and product leadership experience, including roles at Fortune 500 companies such as Walmart, Macy's and eBay, as well as C-suite and board-level work with private equity-backed businesses. His leadership spans software product development, innovation, digital and AI transformation, and Agile transformation.
As the primary technical representative for private equity firms, Najaf has been involved in three successful exits and seven successful acquisitions. He combines deep technology expertise with commercial leadership across product strategy, technology strategy, go-to-market strategy and operational strategy.
His industry experience spans three core verticals: eCommerce (general merchandise and food/grocery), SaaS software platforms, and cybersecurity, including online brand protection and intellectual property protection.
Most recently, Najaf served as CTO of a security and authentication company, helping advance its technology organization through organizational design and operating efficiency, AI adoption, budget and cost optimization, faster product delivery, customer satisfaction and NPS, data security and compliance initiatives including SOC 2 and GDPR, and cloud infrastructure migration.
Today, through Neighbstor LLC, he partners with small, mid-sized and large organizations, as well as investors, to support software initiatives, product and AI strategies, M&A technology diligence and post-acquisition integration. His focus is consistent: turn ambitious goals into measurable execution.
